Morgan Livingston was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana. He is a 2008 graduate of Ouachita Christian School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. While at ULM, Morgan was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and participated in several community service organizations, including the Wounded Warriors Project, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and Livestrong Foundation.
He attended law school at Mississippi College School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate and Civil Law Certificate in 2017. While at Mississippi College, Morgan was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in both Louisiana Successions and Louisiana Matrimonial Regimes. Upon graduation, he returned home to Monroe, where he was admitted to the Louisiana bar and has practiced since 2017.
Morgan joined Hudson, Potts & Bernstein as a lateral hire in 2022, and focuses his practice on real estate, successions, collections, general civil practice, and family law. He is a closing attorney for the firm’s title company, Hudson Lane Title Company, LLC. The title company handles transactions involving residential, commercial, and recreational properties, including sales, mortgages, refinances, donations, servitudes, and lease/purchases. He has developed strong relationships with local realtors, lenders, insurance agents, appraisers, and home inspectors. These relationships, along with Morgan’s wealth of knowledge in the field, ensure that his clients’ real estate transactions are completed efficiently and promptly.
Most recently, he has been named as the winner of ULM’s 2022 Rising Young Alumni Award. This award is given to an alumnus that is involved in community organizations, exhibits philanthropy, and is proud advocate for ULM and the Alumni Association. He has also been named as a winner of the 2022 Northeast Louisiana Top 20 Under 40 Young Professional Award. The award is presented to individuals in our community for their outstanding accomplishments professionally, personally and for their work in community service. Morgan was appointed by Louisiana State Bar Association President Stephen Dwyer to represent the Fourth Judicial District in the Louisiana Bar Association House of Delegates. He is also on the board of the 4th Judicial District Bar Association and is a 2018 Leadership Ouachita graduate. Morgan is a member of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, NELA Young Professionals, Louisiana State Bar Foundation, ULM Alumni Association, Bayou Desiard Country Club, and North Monroe Baptist Church. He is married to Ashleigh Livingston, with whom he has a daughter, Josie Marie, and a son, Max.
